Reporting these scammers

I am not alone.

I have found others that have been scammed, these guys are either not shipping product or shipping crap.

They also do not seem that smart if they are truly scamming why bother sending out cra supplies and incurr shipping costs? Why not just take the money and run they they did with me?

It seems like their site may be down now (at least the main page) they are probably moving on to somewhere else but I hope to track them down and make sure they can’t continue

I have filed reports (and encourage others to do the same) with:

• The RCMP – Reporting Economic Crime Online project
• Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3)
• Google – I found them through Google Ad Words
• GoDaddy – their webhost
• The Better Business Bureau
• AMSouth Bank – their bank

I have heard back from Google a bit, they say they have no guarantee of the validity of their advertisers (will make me think twice about using that service)

I would love to hear from anyone else that got scammed and how they are coming along with fighting this.

I have been scammed.

I was planning on starting a small eBay store, nothing fancy – not looking to make a million dollarsor anythin, just something to make a couple of dollars. I was planning on selling things that I use or want (basically I wanted free toys and I have an excuse to bring them in if I am selling them)

I was looking at bringing in some USB Flash drives – they sell quick and it seems everyone wanted one. Through Google Ads I had found http://www.computercityinc.net advertising a variety of USB flash drives so I bought a bunch of them as well as some Sony memory sticks. Judging by eBay sales turnovers they would sell quickly and at a decent profit.

The company required a wire transfer and in my own stupidity I went ahead and did a wire transfer for a little over $1500. The communication with them was fantastic, they were quick to answer all emails and then it was as if they dropped off the face of the earth.

• Not returning emails
• When you call their toll free number the mailbox is always full
• When you ‘play around’ with their mailbox you find out it is to a mobile phone

Needless to say I am embarrased and upset at what happened. I also do not want anyone else to fall prey to these weasels
